Things I Love Thursday, evening edition

[this photo, for one. sylvia sydney, hot diggity dog.]
- I'm watching "Project Runway." I am like, way into this season so far. And I don't hate anyone yet; the real wackadoos are all pretty entertaining (ridiculous rock-n-roll lady who only wants to use leather; guy named Suede who refers to himself in the third person, but made a gorgeous gorgeous dress).
- My new shoe racks. Oh man, having my closet organized makes me feel like Martha Stewart, or Gwyneth Paltrow, or someone else very mature and together. I have never felt as adult as I do now that I've purged my possessions, have all my jeans actually HUNG UP on HANGERS, and have installed the finishing touch of shoe racks. My dear friend is moving to Japan (lucky so-and-so!) and is attempting to apologize for her rude departure by loaning me her very classy, canvas-lined shoe thingies. No cheapy plastic deals for her. Believe me, it is SO worth it. Even if I'd paid for them, they'd be worth it. Home and Garden, here I come.
- Kingdom of Style. Funny! Cool! Check out how Queen Michelle creates her own totally awesome quilted necklace. Go read!
- Art Is Alive. Though, hold on, the URL is artisnotdead.blogspot.com. Very confusing. Anyway, it talks about contemporary art and whatnot and makes me feel temporarily high-minded and culturally savvy.

sylvia is beautiful! was she an actress? i have no idea who she is. but she's very beautiful.
project runway has yet to grab me. i was really pissed wesley(spelling?) was sent home. he was the best dressed boy there! and i personally did not think his dress was the worst. plus i kind of wanted him to stick around because i thought his name was leslie and had fun calling him that. =/ but i'm mad he left.
I am loving this season of pr too! I hated girlicious Blayne first episode, but he's really showing himself to be a little ball of hilarity. "Oh, Stella, you know i love your leather face."
Hey,
I found your blog today and i'm glad i did. I like it alot.
I love that picture. It's so elegant
As for project runway, I'm still watching it religiously but it hasn't been my favorite season by any stretch. Stella annoys me soo much and I haven't found a favorite designer yet. thankfully it's early in the season so there's still hope!
o and right now i'm really into old movies and black and white photos
I love Kingdom of Style. I've not been one to watch Project runway consistently, but the supermarket episode had some really good designs and projects.
Inspired post!
I love the new show Swingtown :)
beautiful picture. i would have to agree with arielle who posted above me. this season of project runway isn't my favorite but its super so far. and stella and blayne, well, those two don't exactly float my boat. stella's leather fetish creeps me out and blayne is too...tan.
nice blog. check mine out when you can!
i love the project runway
hahaha! i'm annoyed with project runway because they are invading parsons and... too many annoying things that i have to say about parsons.
but i think this season, there aren't any designers that have similar aesthetics as me (or maybe they haven't shown themselves yet) so it's boring to me. no one really stands out yet.
like erin, i laughed like mad when blayne said "leather face" to stella. stella is apparently an acquaintance of one of my colleagues, as even as friends she thinks stella will get outed soon. she's just not a designer! i still can't believe they kept her instead of the asian dude from the first episode. her "design" was a sad a-homeless-guy-could-have-done-it-in-5-minutes mess of a job. i honestly think the judges were being racists!
Well I have to say I love Project Runway! Although I am a little bored so far this season. I'm sure it will pick up. I am loving plaid right now..:) but have not found any yet!
Oh, it was WORTH IT for me to leave for Japan so you could have such a neat and tidy closet, huh? OKAY, RR, I SEE HOW IT IS. Sob. (jk i<3u)
